If a deal sounds too good to be true, then it is. Don't allow your mind to be clouded by the fantasy of making millions. Research every perspective supplier and buyer.

Get your head out of the clouds about the amount of money you can make. It is tempting to estimate a certain high level of profit and then jump in, but being honest with your self is the only way that you can ever hope to be a success.

Bank wire transfers, western union, C.O.D and checks are a bad way to send money to a new supplier "TRUST ME". They are not safe. Only use these forms of money transfer if you know the supplier personally or if you really trust them.

When estimating profit don't forget about shipping and handling, listing fees, final value fees or paypal or escrow fees. Ebay takes about 15% of the final value of your sale and with all sites its different, but always take that into consideration when figuring out your profit.

Never put all of your eggs in one basket. This means many different things, don't rely on one product to make you rich sell 10 or 20 to maximize sales potential. Never spend all of your money on new goods, take into consideration returns or bills from your selling venues.

Always research a lot on several different sites to find a perfect product or buyer or seller. When you do find them it is so sweet. Then keep them hidden. Remember, you want people to buy milk from you not buy their own cow.

Have others look at your ads or auctions then ask they what they like or dislike. You should also try to look at very high paying auctions or ads and try to figure out why theirs are doing so well. Learn from the pros.

Never get discouraged its really easy to want to give up some times. When Microsoft first came out with Windows it was terrible, so they changed it. Find several different opportunities and if one fails miserably (remember why it did) and fix it or move to the next thing.

Some people are Jerks and no matter how hard you try you wont be able to make them happy, but don't let that stop you from being friendly and professional. Remember you can always catch more bees with honey than bug spray. (or something like that)
